DETAILS:
Make a textile map of your neighborhood, or make a personal gift for a loved one using a wide variety of textile techniques. This workshop will touch on identifying a map for your project; strategies and techniques for transferring your map to your fabric, including carbon transfer paper, wash away stabilizer, and projection; hand and machine applique techniques; and more! No experience necessary.

Scraps of fabric for appliquing parks/bodies of water/buildings
