Protecting Pollinators - Craftivism Workshop - Chicago Botanic Garden

This summer I will be part of the Lost and Found special exhibit as a resident artist at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. This is very exciting to me because I got to spend the last six months diving into the work of the scientists at the gardens and building workshops that would connect community to the research. I am focusing on pollinators and lawn alternatives - you know, the simple actions we can take in our yards and communities to protect pollinators and water resources. So fun!!!

I will be leading 4 embroidery workshops. I would LOVE to see you there. The events are free but you do need to register for the workshops. No experience necessary.

You can register here.

I will also be in the gardens celebrating strawberries and you are invited to come sit and stitch with me at your leisure! Come to the gardens and stitch strawberries while enjoying some fresh strawberry jam. Plus, it’s a plant giveaway day. So many reasons to come hang out with me on a Friday afternoon. No registration necessary. Just show up!
