How to Prepare for a Disaster

REGISTER HERE

There's a lot happening in this world of ours and being prepared for what might arise is an easy way to manage our stress of the unknown. Join us for a two-hour workshop to get some of the basics so you are better prepared in the event of a disaster or emergency.

At the end of this session participants will be able to:

  • Explain critical parts of a disaster plan including: escape routes, evacuation and sheltering in place.

  • Identify key items for a survival kit or “go-bag”.

  • Locate resources and opportunities to further their emergency preparedness knowledge.

This event is pay-what-you-can with 100% of donations going to the facilitator.
