Funeral for Bullshit led by the amazing preservationist and artist Carla Bruni!

Let’s have a funeral for bullshit! In this class you’ll spend time creating a new, personal ritual to help you get rid of whatever nonsense isn’t serving you–via a homemade death vessel!

We’ll briefly look at some mourning rituals from around the world and then create our own death vessels to contain something that we need to die–such as a negative belief about yourself, a shitty friend, a grudge, a bad habit, etc. A paper coffin pattern will be included if you’d like to print that out and decorate/fill it, or you can choose another object (a jar, a shoebox, a ceramic object made by an ex...), depending on whether you’d like to burn/float/bury/hurl/smash the vessel in a celebratory release. The only requirements are that it needs to enclose something via a lid or fold, and you need to be willing to destroy it afterwards.
