Last year as I was making my way to Stitch Buffalo for a weekend of community work, I was hit by an impaired driver. My RV was totaled and my travels took a detour. After a year in Massachusetts as a Teaching Artist at the ICA Boston, I am heading back to sweet home Chicago. AND, we are taking a do-over. As I journey back, I will be spending a few days in Buffalo with the amazing humans of Stitch Buffalo.
We will kick it off with an Embroidery workshop Friday evening, a pop-up exhibit of Badass Herstory on Saturday morning and a community craftivism event on Saturday afternoon/evening.
