Advocating for yourself with Medical Professionals

How to talk with your medical provider to get what you need & what you want with Laura Grimes

Most of us would rather not go to a medical provider, and a lot of the time when we do, we leave feeling like we weren't really heard, our questions weren't answered and we are sketchy on the plan moving forward.

This is especially true if you don't have a regular provider that knows you. This talk will focus on how to be a better advocate for yourself within the American medical system- whether that be with your PCP, NP, your psychiatrist, or even your dentist.

1.5 hours via Zoom

This is a pay-what-you-can event.

100% of the donations go to our expert facilitator, Laura Grimes.
